“Auresso’s Rookie Coffee Blend is a product we create by collaborating with Ghostbird Coffee Company. We craft Rookie Blend using specialty coffee beans from 2 different origins. Our team will process orders on weekly basis as we have an order deadline every Sunday 9pm. Then, we pass our weekly collected orders to Ghostbird Coffee for roasting, packing and order dispatch within a few days.

Coffee Origins
The first single origin in our Rookie espresso blend contains specialty coffee beans from the micro region of Pocos de Caldas in Minais Gerais, Brazil. This is a volcanic region, as a result the coffee farms are scattered along the slopes of the rich volcanic regions. Average elevations are around the 1000-1350 masl.
With high elevations and combined with rich volcanic minerals, this results in an excellent spot for growing specialty coffee beans.
The second origin used is from Colombia, and specifically from the Popayan region. The Popayan Reserve is a regional lot from the department of Cauca, Colombia. We chose this region as it is conducive to producing coffees with good body and sweetness.
Specialty Coffee
The widely accepted definition of specialty beans is coffee scoring 80 points or above on the 100-point Coffee Review scale. Coffee that scores from 90-100 is graded Outstanding, scores of 85-89.99 is graded Excellent. In addition, coffee scores of 80-84.99 is graded Very Good.
