Due to its proximity to Kenya, the Tanzanian coffee beans bear a strong resemblance to the Kenyan beans. These beans are medium sized or big with a lot of thickness as they have a good amount of cream content in them. They have bright, winey and pungent acidity levels and leave a sharp and long aftertaste. Soft-Pipe tobacco like the aroma is the unique feature of these beans.
They have tasting tones of blackberry, lemon, chocolate, kiwi and black tea. These beans are wet-processed or sun-dried naturally. The flavours and aromas depending on the milling process that they undergo. They are usually grown at the height of 1400 to 1800m above sea level, which explains their deep fruity tasting tones.
