Optimized Specifically for Filter Brewing
Unlike standard roasts, our premium single-origin options are light-to-medium roasted to preserve the delicate floral, fruity, and tea-like characteristics of the bean. Whether you brew with a V60, Kalita Wave, or Chemex, these high quality coffee beans yield a incredibly clean, vibrant, and articulate cup.
The Pre-Order Process: How It Works
To maintain strict quality control and guarantee maximum freshness, these premium coffees are available on a limited pre-order basis:
- Place Your Order: Select the premium single-origin option and complete your checkout before the pre-order closing date.
- International Roasting: The roasters roast your beans in small batches to ensure perfection. For limited options, coffees are also selected from the roaster’s latest roast batch.
- Fresh Air-Freight Shipping: We consolidate and air-freight the orders immediately to minimize transit times. Shipment is sent to our office in Klang, Selangor.
- Doorstep Delivery: Your coffee is dispatched to you fresh, leaving you with plenty of time to let the beans rest and degas naturally before brewing. On average, you should receive your beans within 10-14 days post roast.

Option A: Bolivia Takesi Gesha (120g)
Producer: Mariana Iturralde
Location: Yanacachi, Bolivia
Extreme Altitude: Farmed at 1,940 to 2,300 meters above sea level, making Takesi one of the highest-elevation coffee farms in the world. The cool temperatures and volcanic soil slow cherry maturation, building intense flavor clarity and sugar concentration.
Partnership & Impact: Coffee Collective has bought directly from Mariana for 10 consecutive years.
Team Structure: Workers on the farm cross-train across all stages (picking, sorting, and drying) rather than specializing in single tasks, ensuring collective accountability for quality.
Variety: Gesha
Process: Washed Process (precisely executed to preserve the ultra-clean floral and fruity inherent traits of high-altitude Gesha)
Cup Characteristics: Full-bodied, remarkably sweet, and elegant with pristine clarity.
Tasting Notes: Melon, bergamot, and peach.
Option B: Peru Victoria Atao (200g)
Producer: Victoria Atao (managed alongside her husband, Eudis Orosco).
Location: Cusco, Peru (Extreme high elevation at 2,230 meters above sea level).
Farming Practices: The family manages two distinct plots using traditional Inca agroforestry methods:
Finca Paulette (managed by Victoria)
Finca Bella Vista (managed by Eudis)
Both plots share a central wet mill located at Finca Bella Vista.
Variety: SL9 (“Gesha Inca”)
Botanical Background: SL9—locally nicknamed “Gesha Inca”—is a local mutation believed to originate from an older Ethiopian strain cultivated in the region for decades.
Plot Specialty: While mostly red cherries grow at Finca Bella Vista, Victoria’s lot from Finca Paulette produces a majority of yellow cherries, giving this specific lot a unique visual and flavor profile.
Processing Method
Process: Incahuasi Dry Honey Fermentation + Washed
Step-by-Step:
Ripe cherries are floated to eliminate defective fruit.
Cherries are pulped and left to ferment in their natural mucilage without water (“dry honey fermentation”) for 24 to 36 hours in the high-altitude cool climate.
The parchment is fully washed with clean water.
Dried on raised beds at 2,200 meters for 10 to 12 days (turned 5–6 times daily) until target moisture content (10–11.5%) is achieved.
Flavor Profile
Cup Characteristics: Very floral with a crisp, bright acidity.
Tasting Notes: Elderflower, bergamot, kiwi, and honeydew.
