Founded in 2024 by Vladyslav Demonenko (formerly the Ukranian Brewers Cup Champion 2023), Kolo has rapidly ascended to the top tier of the European specialty scene. The name “Kolo” is Ukrainian for “circle,” representing the brand’s mission to bring farmers, roasters, and enthusiasts into one continuous loop of passion and precision.
In Berlin, Kolo is often cited by fellow baristas as the “gold standard” for filter coffee, recently winning the Best Specialty Coffee Shop Award at the 2025 Berlin Coffee Week.
